Ingram Construction-Building Dreams Since 1997
Stephen Ingram has been building quality custom homes in the Rocky Mount, Nash County, and Edgecombe County area of North Carolina since 1997 when he established Ingram Construction Company. In 1999 the company was incorporated as a Limited Liability Corporation under the name Ingram Construction Company of Rocky Mount,LLC. The company maintains an Unlimited General Contracting license for building in the state of North Carolina.
Ingram Construction Company holds membership in the National Association of Home Builders, the North Carolina Association of Home Builders, the Rocky Mount Area Home Builders Association, and the Rocky Mount Chamber of Commerce. Stephen is a past President of the RM Area Home Builders Assn., has served five years on the board of directors, and has held several other offices in the association.
He is currently serves as a national director.
The company has established the Ingram Construction Company Endowed Chair for Engineering at Nash Community College. This marks the first ever departmental chair endowment which will provide funds to be used at the discretion of the chair in order to help meet the engineering department's instructional and equipment needs.
As a custom home builder Stephen is always striving to be in the forefront of the latest technological advances in the industry. He regularly attends building shows and conferences across the country, continuing his education through the National Home Builders Association. Stephen has qualified as a Greenbuilder by the NAHB, and was recently inducted into the NAHB Spike Club.

Stephen takes a hands-on approach to his work, maintaining a close relationship with his clients from start to finish. Working with a hands-on builder, which means dealing directly with Stephen rather than a job supervisor, helps eliminate potential issues before they arise, increasing quality inside and out. Stephen is a lifelong resident of Rocky Mount and a 1994 graduate of North Carolina State University with a BA in Business Administration. He is married to the former Lisa Daniel; they have two sons, Turner age 8, and Carter age 5. They are are all active members of the First United Methodist Church-Rocky Mount.
